This month we had the honor of welcoming Tim Atkin MW , one of the most prestigious international wine critics, to our winery. During his tour of the Canary Islands, Tim Atkin personally selected EL GRIFO to receive the “Medal of Excellence” in the Wine Tourism category of his 2025 ranking.

This recognition, which places EL GRIFO within the Top 100 wine tourism experiences in the Canary Islands , highlights the value of our history, the uniqueness of our vineyards and the quality of the experience we offer to our visitors.

Tim Atkin's visit provides a boost to the entire EL GRIFO team, who work every day to preserve and share a winemaking heritage of more than two and a half centuries, in a unique environment shaped by the volcanic nature of Lanzarote.

We would like to thank Tim Atkin for his interest and for this recognition, which encourages us to continue improving and to share with all our visitors our passion for our territory and our wines.
