ISO 14001 - Environmental Management

At EL GRIFO, we work every day to minimize the impact of our activity on the environment. That's why our environmental management system has been audited and certified under the international standard ISO 14001:2015 by Bureau Veritas Certification , one of the most recognized organizations in the field of quality and sustainability.

This certification confirms that we have implemented a structured, effective and verified environmental management system , applicable to all our operations:

wine production, storage, marketing and sale, as well as the Wine Museum.

What does ISO 14001:2015 certification mean?

This means our winery meets the most demanding international standards for environmental sustainability. Among other commitments:

  • We identify and control the environmental aspects arising from our activity.

  • We measure and reduce energy consumption, emissions, and waste.

  • We comply with current environmental legislation and continuously improve our procedures.

  • We promote training and awareness among the entire team to ensure responsible management in every area.

With this accreditation, renewed after an audit on May 22, 2024 and valid until July 2027 , we reaffirm our commitment to a sustainable, efficient winery aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) .

ISO 14001:2015 certification is not just a recognition, but an objective guarantee that sustainability is part of our daily management, from the vineyard to the glass.
