Lanzarote will be the epicenter of the debate on sustainability and tourism in wine-growing landscapes with the celebration of the 10th International Meeting of Agro-Wine Tourism of the Canary Islands , from May 15 to 17, 2025. The press conference was held at EL GRIFO, highlighting the commitment to a sustainable tourism and agricultural model and the heritage value of La Geria.

The event will bring together more than 70 participants from the Canary Islands, mainland Spain, Brazil, Italy, and Portugal, and will be streamed online. The thematic areas include responsible wine tourism, participatory governance, protected agricultural landscapes, and rural women's leadership.

The program will take place at the Arrecife Gran Hotel & Spa and in venues such as El Grifo and La Geria. As a prelude, the Wine and Gastronomy Tourism Awards will be presented on May 14th in San Bartolomé.

This edition has broad institutional and academic support, consolidating Lanzarote as an international benchmark in wine tourism sustainability.
