Regenerative Viticulture

Regenerative viticulture is an agricultural approach that seeks to restore and improve the soil and ecosystem in vineyard cultivation. It focuses on sustainable practices that promote biodiversity.

The techniques used are

1. Use of plant covers : sowing different seeds to improve water infiltration, protect the soil from temperatures, provide shelter for beneficial insects, fix atmospheric nitrogen and fix carbon.

2. Composting and organic fertilization : supply of organic matter for the proliferation of macroorganisms.

3. Polyculture : different crops in the same area, which create a benefit to cover the development needs of each one, always with optimal soil health, so that crop competition is not created.
