To mark EL GRIFO's 250th anniversary, FECAM (the Canary Islands Federation of Municipalities) held its Executive Committee meeting at the winery's iconic facilities, located in the unique landscape of La Geria, Lanzarote.
This institutional meeting paid tribute to the oldest winery in the Canary Islands, highlighting its legacy, its role as a benchmark in sustainability, and its commitment to winemaking quality.
During the event, The San Bartolomé City Council presented a commemorative gift to the winery, strengthening the ties between the institution and El Grifo. To round off the event, the winery's Book of Honor was signed by the president of FECAM, Mari Brito, and the mayor of San Bartolomé, Isidro Pérez.
A symbolic gesture that highlights the history, present, and future of a winery that represents the essence of viticulture in Lanzarote.
