What is the best time to visit El Grifo in Lanzarote?

The best time to visit El Grifo in Lanzarote is during the spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) months. During these periods, the weather in Lanzarote is especially pleasant, with mild temperatures and fewer tourists, allowing for a more personalized and peaceful experience. Furthermore, in spring you can see the vineyard in flower, while in autumn you can coincide with the harvest season, a magical time to experience the wine production process from grape picking to fermentation. What clothes to wear to visit El Grifo in Lanzarote?

To visit El Grifo in Lanzarote, it is recommended to wear comfortable clothing suitable for a climate that can vary throughout the day. During the day, Lanzarote is usually warm and sunny, so it is advisable to wear light clothing, made of cotton or linen, that allows the skin to breathe. Don't forget a hat or visor and sunglasses to protect yourself from the sun.

As temperatures can drop a bit in the afternoon or early morning, especially outside of the summer months, it would be wise to also bring a light jacket or sweater. If your visit includes a tour of the vineyards, we suggest wearing comfortable footwear suitable for walking on uneven terrain, such as sneakers or shoes with rubber soles.

Remember that you are visiting an operating winery, so comfort and practicality must be a priority in your choice of clothing to fully enjoy the wine tourism experience at El Grifo.
