Ana Muscatel 50 cl
This sweet wine is made with grapes from our oldest Muscat vines (some dating back to the 19th century), which grow in holes along the volcanic lava layer known as chabocos or jameos.
Following a short raisining process in the sun and a unique maceration, fermentation was interrupted with 100 g/L of natural sugars. The wine then underwent extensive ageing using the solera system. When transferring to 50-cl bottles, we added a certain proportion of young Muscatel.
The wine is named after Ana Brito, who was born in El Grifo in 1880, the year that our soleras date back to.
Sweet natural wine made with Muscat grapes from our oldest vines (from before 1950 and some dating back to the 19th century), the ungrafted root stock grows in chabocos (holes in the volcanic lava). Once the bunches are cut, they are dried in the sun for one week.
Fermentation is interrupted by adding alcohol when the sugar level reaches 90 g/L, and the wine is then aged for approximately 30 years. During the bottling process, 10% of young Muscatel is added.

· Colour: Bright amber with caramel reflections, clear and brilliant.
· Aroma: Complex, with oxidative notes from a long ageing process in barrels.
· Mouth: Notes of candied fruit, nuts and aromatic herbs from the grape variety. Long and elegant finish. The high natural acidity prevents it from being overly sweet.
