George Glas was a sailor, merchant and a scottish settler arrested in Lanzarote. He left written a book, The History of the Discovery and Conquest of the Canary Islands, included the translation to english of the manuscript of Juan de Abreu Galindo, History of Conquest of the seven Canary Islands and the mid-century XVIII, along with a description of the Canary Island and the habits of their population
Harvested at the beginning of September, bunch of Listan Negro grape, destemmed and crushed in the winery. Long maceration is together with the grape skin to add flavour and colour and structure enhacement and a long aging.
Fermentation was halted by adding ethanol, to 20ºC, transferred to oak cask of 500L for oxidised aging
- Appearance: medium-dark rim with soft tones, clean and brillant
- Nose: Potent with notes of rype fruit, spices character (licorice and black pepper) with oxidised nuances
- Palate: surround, balanced, long and persistent
