Les anunciamos la próxima exposición que va a albergar nuestro Museo del Vino, donde Dora Prehn nos muestra sus últimas obras, la inauguración será el 04/09/2015 a las 19:00, y podrán ver sus obras desde el 04 al 30 de septiembre.

Con objetos devueltos por la marea , juguetes rotos , maderas , corchos , hierros , etc. crea esculturas amorfas a las que proyecta luz dando lugar a sombras sorprendentes .

Residente y vecina de Lanzarote desde hace más de 25 años, Dora Prehn(* Hamburgo 1964 ) nos trae sus ultimas creaciones .
Obtiene el primer premio en el concurso del MIAC en el año 2010 , con el tema “Arte como Basura y Basura como Arte” .
Participa invitada en la feria de arte “Reciclamadrid” en el centro de exposiciones Cosmocaixa en noviembre del 2011 .
Expone en Roma en la feria de arte “Riscarti” en abril del 2012 siendo sus obras tan valoradas por el publico que al año siguiente es invitada a ese mismo evento como artista principal , pero la economía y la falta de ayuda impiden su participación …
Octubre 2012 : exposición individual en “Los Aljibes” de Tahiche .

Bodegas el Grifo
The young pianist born in Madrid in 2003, although he lives in Lanzarote since 2012. With only five years began studying piano. In 2011 he participates in a Masterclass, taught by Oksana Yablonskaya, which makes him the entire understanding of classical music in all its versions.
As a soloist he has participated in several concerts in the “Camel House” – Macher and the “Convento de Santo Domingo” – Teguise.
The concert is planned for next July the 31th 2015, at the premises of the Wine Museum and “Bodegas El Grifo”, presents the following program:

Friday May 29 at 7.30pm performing their new album “Alegre Coraçao”
Bodegas El Grifo is still committed to the music and celebrating different events promptly. It is a pleasure to announce that on May 29ht we are be able to enjoy the latest album of “Duets” project that is Javier Infante (sazouki and Kaa guitar) with pianist Jose Alberto Medina (piano, melodica, vocals). This work bears the name of “Alegre Coraçao” is full of energy, creativity and joy. It was previously presented at the Festival de Jazz de Canarias, Festival Guitar Masters in Gran Canaria, Festival de Jazz de Madrid, Club Jamboree Barcelona, Jazz Festival Santo Domingo, 31st Festival da Musica Office in Curitiba (Brazil), Spanish Sound Festival in Haus am Waldsee in Berlin and Heidelberg University in Hispanismo Day (Germany) and more recently in the theater Guiniguada under the Autumn Jazz Festival in Las Palmas Gran Canaria in December 2014.
The Wine Museum Bodegas El Grifo host on Friday 17 April at 20.00, a concert from Carlos Oramas. This concert is part of the program of CLAS-MU 2015 organized by the Youth Council of the City of San Bartolomé. The price is 5 euro and the Wine Museum will serve a snack between acts.
The repertoire is “a journey through the repertoire for vihuela, theorbo and baroque guitar in Spain and Italy between the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries.”
We give you some information about the musical career of Carlos Oramas:
Carlos Oramas discovered his interest in music through the folklore.
He studied at the Conservatory of Music of Las Palmas, in the Madrid Royal Conservatory, Conservatory of Luxembourg and Musickhoschüle “Mozarteum” in Salzburg (Austria).
It has been taught by Demetrio Ballesteros, José Miguel Moreno and Eliot Fisk among others.
He has been awarded in different competitions such as “Andrés Segovia”, Spain “Juventudes Musicales Award Outstanding Thesis”. As soloist has performed with the Symphony Orchestra of the Conservatory of Luxembourg and Gran Canaria Philharmonic Orchestra, performing in Uruguay, Chile, Paraguay, Brazil, Bolivia, Greece, Germany, Luxembourg, Austria, Switzerland and Spain. He has recorded for Opera 3 (Madrid) and ASV (London) record companies. And on the 50th anniversary of the death of the Spanish composer Manuel de Falla recorded a CD with flamenco guitarist Oscar Herrero with a tribute to this Spanish musician. 1999 and through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs jointly with the Spanish Association of International Cooperation, makes a tour through great part of the South American geography with a full program of Spanish music, performing in cities such as Montevideo, Sao Paulo, Santiago de Chile, La Paz, Brasilia, Curitiba, Asunción, … In 2001 he toured with the Gran Canaria Philharmonic Orchestra as soloist at venues such as Philharmonie (Cologne), and Tonhalle (Zurich), earning critical acclaim and audience. He has also given concerts including performances at the “Festival de Canarias” (2001), International Guitar Festival of Volos (Greece, 1998) Concert Tour of Castilla-La Mancha (1997) and Guitar Festival from the Canaries.
He has collaborate on projects with musicians from other styles and the result of this is his first album outside the classical field named “Caminos” (Multitrack 2002), where the musician moves from the influences of jazz and classical to folk music, plus guitars using traditional instruments canaries as timple, chácaras … “Caminos” is a work that can also reach beyond this volcanic country.
Because music has no boundaries. World music, in the case of the album “Caminos”, worth the verses of the poet Isabel Medina from La Gomera: “It is a country, is from here, where the sea reaches the end of any house, is the world … from here “.

The technique used by the bask artist settled in Lanzarote is the oil and acrylic on canvas. The opening of this exhibition will be on Friday March 6 at 6.00pm. The work will be exhibited throughout the month.
